Our beloved Mom and Granny Jacqueline A. Mosman, age 82, of rural Nevada, Ohio, passed away on Friday, July 7, 2017 at her home.

Jackie was born on November 6, 1934 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Franklin Henry Reber and Verda Matilda Kehrer Reber, both of whom are deceased.  She was preceded in death by husband Charles L. Mosman. They married on April 25, 1954 at the former St. John’s Evangelical Reformed Church in Bucyrus. Charles passed away on November 5, 2010.

She is survived by a loving son, James (Jim) and daughter in law Lynne, Mosman of Kennesaw, Georgia, and a devoted daughter Debra (Deb) Mosman and her life partner Dwan Holmes of Powell, Ohio. Two granddaughters, her pride and joy, Brittaney Mosman and Elissa Mosman, both reside in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers, Herman, Samuel and Robert Reber; and four sisters Leota Bogan, Delores Snyder, Onda Croneis, and Mary Leslie.

She was a 1952 graduate of Nevada High School and after many years as a devoted homemaker, went on to work as a nutritionist with the Upper Sandusky School System.

Jackie was a lifelong active member of the former Eden Chapel United Methodist Church, a member of the Wyandot Memorial Hospital Guild and Eden Homemakers. Service was a passion for Jackie through out her lifetime, always helping those in need and volunteering with many organizations such as 4-H, Vacation Bible School and Open Door Ministries.

For hobbies she enjoyed sewing, reading, music, doing Bible studies, gardening, mowing the yard and any other outdoor activity.

She will be remembered for her gentle spirit and her heart to serve others.
