Highley F. Caldwell, age 66, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away

On Thursday, April 21, 2016 in the Emergency Room of Marion General Hospital, Marion, Ohio.

 

Highley was born on October 6, 1949 in New London, Ohio to Charlie and Tennessee (Ingram) Wireman, both of whom are deceased.  She married Will Caldwell Sr. on November 23, 1968 in Bellevue, Ohio, and he passed away on May 25, 2014.

 

She is survived by 7 children; Terry Neal of Rosman, North Carolina, Donna (Joe) Stowe of Bucyrus, Ohio, Mark (Helen) Caldwell of Marion, Ohio, Charlotte (James) Penwell Jr., of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, Will (Jodi) Caldwell Jr. of Upper Sandusky Ohio, Daniel (Nikki) Caldwell of Upper Sandusky Ohio, and William (Heather) Eigel of Arcadia, Ohio.   Along with 25 grandchildren, and 27 great grandchildren with one on the way.  

 

Highley is survived by 5 brothers, Ed Wireman of Mansfield, Tom (Bertha) Wireman of Norwalk, Bill Wireman of Greenwich, Ohio, Norman Bailey of Royalton, Kentucky, David (Ina) Wireman of Norwalk, and 4 sisters, Eva Sanford of Tampa, Florida, Della Kidd of Roseville, Michigan, Sarah Jane Lowery of Clyde, Phyllis Sue (Jack) Brock of New London, Ohio.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, great grandchild Travis Hoel,  2 brothers, Raymond and Luther Bailey, and a sister Charlene Conley

 

Highley was employed for over 30 years for the former Millington Plastics– Blackhawk Automotive Plastic in Upper Sandusky.

 

For hobbies she enjoyed sewing, gardening and canning, going to flea markets, traveling and most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services for Highley F. Caldwell will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky, with Pastor Jason Manns officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.

 

Visitations will be held on Monday, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
