Donald C. "Donnie" Karg

Donald C. “Donnie” Karg, age 73, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed

away on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 3:30pm at his home in Upper Sandusky.

Don was born on January 8, 1944 in Bucyrus, Ohio to Clinton and Rita (Orians) Karg.  He married Becky Weber and she survives.

He is survived by his 2 sons: Phillip Karg of New York, New York, and Steve (Angie) Karg of Upper Sandusky, 2 daughters, Michelle (Don) Yoder of Mt. Blanchard, Ohio and Shona Gillen of Upper Sandusky.  Along with 5 grandchildren: Brianna Karg, Mitchel Yoder, Tayler Yoder, Tya Gillen, Taran Gillen and 2 great grandchildren, Braelynn and Zaiden Gillen, and a sister Sandy Austin of Upper Sandusky.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Charles “Chuck” Karg.

Don was an owner of Karg Supply LTD in Upper Sandusky until his retirement. He and his brother Chuck, were the 3rd generation to follow in the family business.

For hobbies, he enjoyed fishing, being outdoors especially at the family pond, and spending time with his family.

Funeral services for Donald C. Karg will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky and with Ryan Karg officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky.

Visitations will be held on Wednesday from 11:00am to 2:00pm at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home in Upper Sandusky.
