Anna L. "Nancy" Roby

Anna L. “Nancy” Roby, age 92, of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 8:15pm at the Fairhaven

Community.

Nancy was born on May 6, 1924 in Sycamore, Ohio to Walter and Dora (Miller) Roby, both of whom are deceased.

She is survived by a nephew Mike (Connie) Young of Bucyrus, two great nephews, Denny (Michele) Young and Steve (Sheri) Young, along with five great great nephews, and a great great great nephew.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, brother George Roby, and a sister Madalyn Young-Kuenzli, and the love of her life, Jack Friend.

Nancy was a secretary for Shunk Manufacturing in Bucyrus for many years, and then a secretary for Jack Friend Excavating.

She was a member of Sycamore United Church of Christ.  

Nancy was an animal lover, especially all of the dogs and cats she cared for throughout the years.  She also loved being at

any family gathering. 

Graveside services for Nancy Roby will be held at 11:00am Monday, January 16, 2017 at Old Mission Cemetery in Upper Sandusky with Rev. Becky King officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Fairhaven Community and can be sent to Lucas-Batton, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH  43351.
