Allen E. Barry, Jr., 56, of LaRue, Ohio, passed away at 4:48pm on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, Ohio.

 

Born September 14, 1961 in Kenton, he was the son of Allen E., Sr. and Vivian (Oliver) Barry. His mother survives in LaRue. His father preceded him in death in March of 2017. A son, Jeremy Barry also preceded him in death. He married Jackie Curtin on December 29, 2005 and she survives in Forest, Ohio.

 

He is also survived by a brother, Keven J. (Daleane) Barry of Sycamore, a sister, Judith A. (Charles Roby, Jr.) Morris of Ridgeway, two step-sons: Joe (Amanda) Lininger and Phillip (Dani) Lininger both of Sycamore, 11 grandchildren: Corwin and Aiden Barry, Drew, Ryan, Koy, Jack, and Maverick Lininger, Emma Myers-Huffman, Parker Patchett, and Payten and Piper Goins. He is also survived by two nieces: Dusty R. (Richard) O’Reilly and Amy (Jason) Huston, three nephews: Jake McMillion, Trevor and Ethan Tucker, a great niece, Indigo, and a great nephew, Oliver.

 

Allen was a brick mason for several contractors in the area. He was a member of Wharton First Church of God in Wharton. He enjoyed playing banjo in the Living Waters Gospel Band and painting.

 

Allen loved his family and his greatest joy was watching his grandchildren in their various activities.

 

A memorial service for Allen E. Barry Jr., will be held at 6:00pm, Thursday, November 30, 2017at the Wharton First Church of God with Rev. David Odegard officiating. 

 

Memorial contributions may be given to Wharton First Church of God or Forest Jackson Public Library and can be sent to Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, 476 S. Sandusky Ave. Upper Sandusky, Ohio  43351.
